From our beginnings in 1960, two generations of the Chan family from Singapore have been
committed to the ideal of creating furniture of such impeccable quality that it brings happiness and
pride, not only to the people who own it, but also to the craftsmen and carvers who build it and the sales people who market and sell it.
The Locasa sofa factory is located in Dongguan City, the famous furniture manufacturing district in Southern China. We started with a small workshop but have grown steadily so that we now employ over five hundred people and our factory area extends to 30,000 square meters. Locasa sofas are delivered to most countries and regions of the world including the USA, United Kingdom, Europe, Middle East, Russia, South Africa, Korea and Australia.
We specialize in making soft cover upholstery – often with elegant, hand-carved show-wood. Creating fine upholstered furniture is a challenge that demands skill, talent, dedication, craftsmanship and team work. The perfect result combines aesthetic sensibility, subtly designed and well sculptured shapes, exact pattern matching, accurate cutting and sewing and precise upholstery. Attention to detail is of vital importance. That is why you will find that Locasa sofas are not only different but better. We like to think it is the difference between an ordinary sofa and an exceptional one.
Locasa has a collection of over 1,500 fabrics from around the world. We search for the right combinations of design, colour, texture and construction so as to offer fresh looks and good handle. These fabrics are carefully coordinated with over 500 different trims, cords, braids, bullion fringes, decorative tapes and tailored skirts. Show-wood is carefully hand-carved and finished/polished in a variety of over 200 wood finish colours to create distinctive and beautiful upholstery.
